Creativity Strikes! - TTPH

The theme for this weeks challenge at Through The Purple Haze is 'Creativity Strikes' and the design team were given some lovely digis by Milk Coffee Stamps.

I was given this lovely lady and decided that she needed to be big and take up the majority of the card so I printed her onto cardstock and coloured her in with Spectrum Noirs. I cut around the right hand side of her and then on the right hand side I made my own dotty background.

The only problem with using Spectrum Noirs (or the majority of alcohol markers) as that they bleed through the card and it doesn't look great when you open the card, but to fix this I cut another piece of card in the same shape as the front and placed this behind her concealing the bleed through.

I really like how this card turned out as I was worried that too many embellishments would ruin her.

Why not head over to Through The Purple Haze and check out what the other DT members have made and enter this weeks challenge.
