I love the Stampin Up Shine On speciality designer papers. The designs are lovely and they're really nice and thick. 

I used two sheets to make this gift bag which I saw on YouTube (https://youtu.be/a6kx9dX6eUo) It worked really well with this paper. It was really easy to do and made a nice strong bag. 

I added in a heat embossed tag for an added bit of decoration using the Stampin Up Saleabration Just for you stamp.

Gift Box Using Stampin Up Designer Series Kraft Card

I needed a small gift box for some presents for my Dad after he had another eye operation. I love the printed and foiled Shine on Stampin Up designer series Kraft card and made this for one 12x12 sheet using my Crafters Companion Big Score.

I cut the card in half (so I had two 6x12 pieces). With the first piece I stamped the stamp 'sweet treats' from the Stampin Up teeny tiny sentiments. With this piece I used the 'box lid' side of the board and measured 2.5 cm on each side. I did the same with the other sheet on the 'box base' side. I then used tacky glue to put it together.

I finished it with some lime ribbon.

The designer series Kraft is a great thickness and it makes it a really nice box.

Flower Wreath Mothers Day Card

I had an accident a few weeks ago and haven't been able to craft much and was planning on making some cards on my Cricut Explore but Design Space was down or playing up so I ended up in a strop as I was frustrated and ordered some supplies from Stampin Up. I wanted (well needed) to make cards that used minimal physical effort as my back and left arm hurt and I'm left handed and didn't want to aggrivate my back. This is one of the cards I made, along with another that I'll post after.

Mothers Day words from Cricut Mothers Day 2015 digital cartridge (cut using my Cricut Explore)

Circle cut using my Cricut Explore using the basic shapes

Glue (I used collall all purpose and silicone glue)

 

I cut the coral card 5 inches by 10 inches and scored the 10 inch side at 2.5 either end so I had a gate fold card.

I cut 2 pieces of Kraft card to just under 5 inches by just under 2.5 inches. I think inked the hardwood stamp with Sahara sand and placed my card directly onto the stamp and rubbed (I didn't have a acrylic block big enough for the stamp but liked using this method) 

I glued these Kraft card pieces onto the two flaps of the card. 

I stamped the flower onto Centura pearl in Bermuda bay and calypso coral. I then mixed it up by stamping in the mustard seed ink, and then going ontop with the marmalade colour to give a two tone look. 

As ink doesn't seep into the Centura pearl card, I had to wait sometime for the ink to dry so it didn't smudge. Once dry I punched them out using the matching punch.

I cut a 4 inch circle from white card and stuck the Mothers Day vinyl wording to the middle (this was cut to 2.5 inches wide). Next I used silicone glue to stick the flowers round the outside, layering them up so none of the circle edge showed.

I stuck the circle to the left flap.

To go with the card I made an envelope using the Stampin up envelope paper using my Cricut Explore. I love the paper as its just the right weight and double sided with a lovely pattern on one side. 

40th Birthday Card

This card is 13.5cm x 13.5cm and I used:
Bazzill Basics light blue card
Bazzill Basics dark blue polkadot embossed card
Silver mirri card
Stampin Up Cherry on Top paper pack (a sheet of the candle paper)
13.5cm square card blank with matching envelope from Card Blanks Direct (love their card blanks)
Stampin up silver glitter
Stampin up heat and stick embossing powder
Eboss-it Pen (clear)
Cricut Explore
PVA Glue

I cut the silver mirri to 13.4cm square and stuck this on the card (I did it a little smaller than the card so there was no hang-over)

I cut the candle paper to 13.1cm square (so there would be a think silver boarder) and stuck this to the mirri.

I used the Cricut to cut the dark blue card to 12.8 cm square and cut the numbers out of this (using Monogram Motifs), and I also cut a flag out and using the write feature on the Cricut wrote 'Birthday Wishes' in All Mixed Up font with a Pilot V5 pen in the Cricut.

To give it a bit of 'bling' I went round the edges of the flag with the embossing pen, then dipped it in the heat and stick embossing powder, heated it with my heat gun, sprinkled it in glitter, then heated it again to set it.

I then assembled it all with PVA glue. I would have used 3D foam however as it was going in the post I didn't want it to get squished or damaged.

Cupcake Birthday Card

Today is my sisters birthday and this is the card I made for her.

I used the Cricut Explore for the design, using the cupcake design from the Classically Modern Cards cartridge.

I used papers from the Cherry on Top range from Stampin Up. 

I edited the design a bit to have a patterned background. To save paper I cut the cupcake case out of the background (as it would be covered over)

I used my xyron to make the layers of the cake adhesive. This was so much easier than using glue! 

Next I used an Emboss It pen in my Cricut Explore with my sentiment, then covered it in Stampin Up heat and stick embossing powder, followed by Stampin Up glitter 

This was my first time trying this and I'm pretty pleased but would used a larger font next time just so it's a bit clearer 

I did also make a matching envelope with Stampin Up envelope paper but I can't find the photo! Whoops (I did make the card 3 weeks ago but held off posting this in case my sister saw it) I really like their envelope paper as one side is plain and the other is patterned and they're 12 X 12 size so perfect to use with the Cricut Explore

And here are the birthday cupcakes I baked her, cherry bakewell cupcakes (and they were mega yummy!)
